The Shift Shower

A new way to think about space.

In 2022, I built the very first Shift Shower for a client, introducing a concept that would go on to influence van design across the industry: a fully integrated closet and shower combination that makes the most of every square inch.

The idea was simple, but the impact was huge. Why dedicate separate space to a closet, pantry, hamper, and shower when they could all work together as one thoughtfully engineered component? That question led to a design that helped change the way builders approach space inside a van.

Since that first build, the concept has appeared throughout the van world. Now, I'm taking it to the next level.

Shift Shower V2 is currently in development, with a complete redesign from the ground up. The goal is a fully equipped, ready-to-install unit that brings this space-saving innovation to more builders and van owners, without having to engineer the entire system themselves.

This is more than a shower. It's a smarter way to build a van.

We're currently prototyping Version 2, refining the design and working toward a finished product that makes installation simpler and brings the entire concept together in one integrated package.
